As the music was blaring, no rules were we adhering ,
Because we were just caring, and together we were sharing .
Sharing with all the lustre of our love ,
And praying for happiness, from the heaven above!
The celebrations continued for pretty long ,
And it made our family bond, indeed very strong!
Festivals hold in our heart , a position very high ..
Just as the rainbow , that shines in the sky !
The celebrations are done , with great pomp and show
And they unite families, as we all know !
A break from our monotonous routine , surely we get .
Unites even the busy people, whom we seldom met!
Eating tempting delicacies and preparing food galore ,
Laughing your hearts out , but we never get bore!
Wearing exquisite apparels, bought selectively from the city ,
Adding to it, our smiles, we start looking pretty !
Enjoying, laughing, playing and gossiping out,
Is what festivals are all about !
It is only festivals, which need no plan,
And they don't ask from us, our religion or clan !
This is how happiness is crystal clear,
And why we await festivals, all through the year!
