The Moon, a tearful lover, chased the sun's embrace,
Across the velvet canvas, a timeless, patient race.
For years, she yearned, traversing west to east,
Her silver tears, soft moonlight, on horizons released.
The Sun, a hesitant star, withheld his fiery kiss,
Knowing their fleeting union, a bittersweet abyss.
Yet in his heart, a yearning echoed, deep and true,
Woven in white cloud dreams, forever of her hue.
