Asphalt streets, concrete floors
Home to the drug dealer, pimps and whores
The trash arrives here more than the ocean shores
Bullet holes cover all the walls and front doors
Burnt out street lights and dark alleys
Perfect spot for all of the junkies
The police call us spics and monkey's
Just living on the wrong side of society
If these blocks could talk they'd tell all about the forgot
Ya know the ones that got lined out in the chalk
Watching the streets way before we could even walk
For the ones that was all that they were taught
Many faught for a spot that was just being rented
Then we wonder why our streets are so hunted
If only those street poles could breath
They would tell stories about times way before me
One day dope boys were hanging on the block
Cars pull up slow and let off more than one shot
Hit two in the right spot and watched as their body flopped
Sirins coming and all their friends were running
Next day nobody says nothing like it didint even happened
Two lost souls caught up in the white chalk laid out in the asphalt
If that wasn't enough the walls would never bluff
See them covered all up in the truth
Hearing the running, screams and shouts was ruff
Empty shells hit the floor and ring with each bounce
To the dark sky's every body counts
Bodys get penetrated, blood and bone fragments gets separated
Done out of hatred cause youngin was about to make it
Getting out the game and was on to college so much to accomplish
Innocents get hit in the crosshairs, little girl lays on the floor
holding her doll tight and all we could do is watch her fall
The news says it just isn't fair and the walls are still bleeding out from the ghetto warfare.
