CHAMPAGNE RAIN(MAY)...

Start off sooner than the rest of them, love changes even the lesser men. Clear skies fade off into a sunset drive. It was a dark night, when I heard the news. Rolled up my sleeves and walked like a mudslide, overly abused.
Love and fear mixed a madness and gave birth to a newborn sadness, but less tragic. Emotions make motions of a toast to tears hidden in the raindrops. A bittersweet confusion, or contusion as I've hit my head upon a stun silence and awaken by champagne bubbles kissing my nose hairs. So I gather my composure, and head quickly to the door through the on pour of champagne rain. Door alarm bells start ringing, frequent my lady calls, I loved her so much more.
Held on, held each other tight with standards soon to storm cause we're here now. As we march through the madness, April was unclear. Suddenly it turned to sadness, hopes turned into fears. Then it was May...it was May.
