Chasing
As a child I smiled and agreed.
Nobody asked me what i wanted to be.
As a teen, I still wasn't asked what interests me.
As a young adult, I wasn't sure.
College was not for me.
Work and a trade was what my Dad taught me.
Found my niche, which was not what I expected it to be.
Here I am older now.
Still trying to figure what motivates me.
I still am trying to chase a dream or something.
