When I was a little girl
my house was in a small town.
Where I loved to swing and swirl
in the wide ground of my town.
With my two sisters and one brother
lots of cousins staying very close.
We used to have fun altogether
beautiful time I wish I could froze.
Everybody knew everyone in my town
played together without any stress.
Houses were either white or brown
I still miss that place badly, I confess.
The town where I spent my entire childhood
still recides in my heart and in my memories.
That small place with the best neighborhood
I will cherish the most even after centuries.
