Small town in a big country
few people living close
sharing the same values
and enjoying all together.
Broadest road in the town
with the temple at the end
in the centre lies my home
market on the other end.
Houses joined close together
people gather outside
chattering and laughing
kids playing all around.
No movie theaters
or big parks to have fun
not many air conditioners
or the restaurants to go out.
Not much traffic on roads
very less noise all around
roads free for children
to play and roam and enjoy.
Variety of food to eat
from the different houses
without any formality
or the status to show.
Visited that little town
after long gap of ten years
memories of childhood
filled the heart with joy.
