Choose Gratitude.

The one void of life
Has nothing to complain about.
Which eyes would they use
To see blessings and troubles?
Which ears would they use
To hear the good and the bad news?
Which mouth would they use
To rejoice or grumble?
How can they be grateful or ungrateful
When their hearts beat no longer.
The one who has life
Has every reason to be grateful,
But some choose to feed on their troubles,
Forgetting that the one
Whose soul hasn't left the body
Has more hope than the one
Whose soul; the body can't find.
