christ giving

A provider, a defender
A father and in all splendor,
Who was, who is and everlasting forever
Given away to all its a betrayal
But little did they know it was all for them
A child and his mother with his supposed earthly father
Born and laid in a manger
In Bethlehem the city of his fathers
He was the promised child from great men of old
The shepherds and the wise men
At their saying people marveled
Could it be true they asked one another
Not believing this child could be their saviour
Maybe they expected God to come down and give to them his son in all his glory
As a man yes he was tempted, betrayed by loved ones but yet in all his test never did he hate even for once the ones he loved
A tree made a cross
Two robbers at his side
He was naked and ashamed
But knowing his purpose in all his pain Still prayed for the ones who crucified him
The crown of thorn that was worn him
The stripes he took by the soldier
The vinegar given instead of the water he begged for
The mockery made of him by his persecutors
Yet nothing more painful as the only one he called father turned away his sight from him
At that point the weight of all the world's sin was upon him, and his mission on earth fulfilled he committed his spirit into his fathers hands, going to hell for the key of death and hell
On the third day yet again he was alive but now transformed in all glory
The glory of God now was on earth and even till now, ascending to his father now our father and his God now our God
Now all can come to him
In the presence of God our father
We are now all called children of God because of the price he paid for us though we owed the debt,
And at his name JESUS every knee will bow and every tongue confess that he truly JESUS is the lord.
