Sunup came as the rooster rang The Cinder got out of bed and stood up and his head went bang
He forgot his ceiling was 4 feet ten He then fell to the floor holding his head as he opened his eyes there was old Ben
He lived in the attic in this Big Red House It had 20 bedrooms all of them empty except for three b1ut he lives in the Attic with old Ben the cat and a dirty little mouse
When they built this house the Attic was not attended to be living quarters for a growing boy of six feet four His stepfather did not like Cinder lurking around he was always asking for more
He also was too noisy and he kept asking questions about the will So next month when he turn 18 Cinder will be kicked out the door and sent over the hill
Cinder was tired of working for his stepfather who paid him hardly nothing His mother died 10 years ago and the will just vanishes wihout a trace so stepdad inherited everything and he got nothing
It was getting late as he finished his last chimney for the day Now he had to go home and clean the villa without pay
He was finally finished with taking out the garbage cleaning the kitchen washing the dishes mopping the floor When his Two Step Brothers came in the kitchen through the kitchen door
They were laughing at Cinder who had a very odd look on his face As the two step brothers brought in dirt and mud and splashed it all over the place
Cinder just shook his head and remopped the floor then put the mob cleaning equipment away and lock the kitchen door
He walked out to the garden to looked at the stars Oh over there he saw a falling star just above Mars
Oh falling star that shines so bright you were always the brightest one in tbe sky at night When you land may you rest your head and fall asleep in a bed

The very next day the rooster rang as before but Cinder was not in bed He arose earlier that morning to get his 2 step brothers and stepdad fed
Cinder after breakfast the first thing was to loaded up the wagon that was in the back by the shed but he went to get the team of horses instead
When he saw his 2 brother’s still eating cake lurking by the wagon he knew he made another mistake They were always trying to him in trouble and this time they thought they would be cute and release the brake.
Cinder Cinder the wagon its moving and they laughed and he knew they were fake and they watched' the wagon go into lake
That’s 4 wagons this week dad is not going to be happy In fact this will probably make him feel crappy
CINDER come here COME HERE NOOOOW Cinder came running yelling yes stepfather pow Cinder slipped and fell to the floor Get up you idiot did I see another wagon going into the lake that makes four
I should fire you for all the time you waist but get go get that wagon out of the lake If your not done by noon and back to work a whole days pay I will take
All morning it took to get the wagon out of the lake but it was not het noon so he still had time to go back to work today His mom told him many times cinder you have to work before you can play
He fixed 4 chimneys and cleaned 6 fireplaces all before dark He was on his way home when he saw the house lights on and heard the dogs bark
Strange no lights are allowed on till after eight There was a carriage at the door 2 girls inside dressed for a date
That's right he thought there was a ball tonight He parked the wagon in the back out of sight He then went in through the backdoor The cook looked at cinder you better wash up you will be late for that dance Then something hit him and he fell to the floor missing his chance
He woke up it was dark and cold He was chained to a pipe like he was a slave being sold
Then a door open and in stepped his stepdad Oh why Cinder you been very bad
Do you really think you were going to the ball Cinder you can't go I'm going to lock you behind this wall
Cinder yelled why can't I go to the palace Ahhh he began laughing at cinder because I don't like you now shut your face
Cinder all dirty and tired and sitting in the dark he thought to himself it is not fair I didn't do nothing to him all I did was ask for my share. There he was all dirty chain to a pipe with no hope of ever getting away Everyone else went to the dance to laugh and play
Not nice in here kind of stuffy I might add Cinder looked up to see a man dressed in blue it was the new fad
He had a crazy or insane look on his face but who was he and how did he get in this place This is not the way here let me help and he pulled out a wand Then he grabbed cinder and the chains hit the floor and then he yawned Cinder scared who are you and what do you want I have no money to pay My boy don't worry about money I’m here to save the day My name is Mr. Jingles your fairy godfather may I say Now come here Cinder stand there on that mat That’s better into the light you can't go to the ball dressed like that

Mr. Jingles said puff and then bucket became a gold carriage in golden lace He then saw Ben and he said puff Ben became a driver with an ugly face
One more thing please don't run From me he then said puff it’s no fun
He then ate a piece of bread 2 mice became 2 fine Arabian black stallions instead
Now boy listen go to the ball and have fun Remember this will all vanish with the first ray of the sun
The magic only last until daylight so if your late you better run Because all of this will be gone now load up and go and have some fun
Cinder dressed to kill went to the palace for first time that night When he arrived the party already started he told Ben to ready before light. Cinder entered the palace music was playing and people were all dancing talking and drinking People were having fun it seemed Cinder felt out of place as he began thinking
There was food all about on tables all free to eat or drink You could stuff yourself like a pig and the have some lemonade that was pink Cinder walked around the palace talking to just a few As he was walking about he passed a tent that he thought was empty and he could sit Just then he heard a snuffle and then he heard it again he was sure of it
Someone was inside the tent crying in that tent Are you alright I can hear you crying can I help you or do you need more time to vent
I know when I am sad and I feel depressed like when I Miss my mom who died ten years ago today Oh sir I’m sorry that you heard me crying I had no idea that anyone was over this way
Cinder did not hear much of what she said for his eyes were just glowing like a star She must be the most prettiest girl he has ever met by far He bowed oh my lady Cinder is my name and you are very pretty and you put every lady here to shame
She blushed and said sir you are very kind and you also look very nice Cinder blushed he never had a girl before say something nice He said thank you twice but as softly as some mice
I'm sorry I was crying out there but I had a bad fight with my pig headed stubborn dad Do not worry milady I also had a fight with mine and he really made me mad
I'm not very good at dancing milady but would you care to dance with me tonight it would make be very happy hope I was polite
Cinder held out his hand and the young lady smiled for the first time tonight and said she would be honored to dance with thee as long as he don’t bite
Now they danced together the rest of the night Talking and laughing almost until morning light Cinder let out a gasp sorry my lady I must leave before it's too late Oh please don't go she said but Cinder then ran up the stairs to the gate
I'm sorry but I must go and he grabbed his shoe and tossed it to her but kept the mate He said this is for you my dear and as he left out the gate
It was almost sunup when he reached the place where carriage was went to park Let's go Ben while its still dark
Off they went to get home before it got light So Ben could be a cat with a ugly face that looked uptight
That was not to be halfway home the sun rose Ben was a cat again and cinder was dirty with one shoe and a bloody nose
Ok Ben said cinder we walk the rest of the way Ben just sat on the ground refused to walk any more today
Well if you want me to go you must carry me or I will stay Cinder said ok have your way
He picked old Ben up to the villa they went It was mid morn when cinder was spent
When they arrived he was having trouble breathing he was gasping and venting H is stepdad was furious and bent
How you got away does not matter at all What does is that you did not attend the ball
Now get ready and get to work your already late Your wagon is ready l had it loaded and put by that gate
Stepfather why did you not want me at the ball last night The princess was chosing a husband by the Kings’s right

Doesn't matter now the stranger dressed in white Danced and talked with her all night Then a rider came by he hung a poster up on the wall for all to read in plain sight

Where the Princess will decide if you’re the man in white Now Cinder was reading the poster when his stepdad turn off the lights
He woke up in the same place as before chained to the pipe behind a wall Now Cinder listen you be quiet and l will let you go after the chancellor goes back to the palace anyways you didn't even go to the ball
Then you are to pack your things and leave my sight I hated your mom she thought she was so bright
I killed her anyways because she was a whore Now I will get rid of you and I will see you no more
Cinder crying with a gag in his mouth chained to a pipe behind a wall Step dad locked the door and laughed and went back to the hall
The Chancellor arrived with full a escort the chancellor got out with the shoe It says here there should be three but I see only two
My stepson died this morning drowned in the lake but my two sons are willing to try on that shoe
The had both of them try the shoe but neither of them fit the Chancellor just had to spit
Now upstairs Cinder was trying to get the gag off when Mr. Jingles appear all drunk and unable to stand but full if spunk
Now boy what did you do now you only get one visit from me why do you get another Strange it doesn't make sense the fairy guide states only one no other
But since they sent me let get out of there my son so you can once again see Mr. Jingles reached as before and the chain disappeared and Cinder was free
He ran down the stairs yelling stop I am not dead as he came running out the door he was dirty and black The guards then seeing cinder yelled for the chancellor to come back
What's this thought this man drowned Man you lied to an officer of the crown
Take him away I deal with him another day
My boy sit down you look like you been through hell what do you have to say
I don't know what you want me to tell you My step dad locked me up because I think he knew

Cinder was taken to the princess Where she kissed Cinder but said your dirty go take a bath change your clothes so you smell less
So he went to get cleaned and changed But you know who will the pant and the dress
