Hours and hours I spent,
Creating a single rope to dangle on.
Holding my breath, the stench,
As I braided it ever so long.
I looked up above me,
To the mountain I must climb.
If I make it, I'm free.
But if I fail, I could die.
A hook of metal I tie,
Right at the end of it all.
I wish I could fly,
But I would only fall.
I throw my rope high,
Trying my best to get away.
I have to get out,
Far from all the decay.
It hooks on to the wall,
And I climb and climb.
But like I knew I would, I fall.
Deep into dead bodies and slime
