Closed Circuit

Take my hand as I run, be forewarned I pass close to the sun. We will bathe by the shore while we watch ribbons fracture off as flairs, eight minutes of chasing particles through puddles of dust, I will show you that lust is worth no amount of trust. Enevidibility is a must in this equation, no matter how brazen one dances with fire, no desire can sustain the next phase of boredom, life isn’t always fun.
Meet me by the overpass, by the parking lot you’ll find me waiting. I’ll be searching for greener grass, someplace I can raise a glass as I configure my speech. Bleak isn’t a parameter I’m out to seek, but as the day slowly grows longer, so does my mind grow fonder. It was a wonder how little time it took for me to chew free of your hook.
Closed-circuit recordings captured something foreboding, it was the presence of a tyrannical politician, full of greed and unwilling to consider conceding. As from where I am sitting I don’t recall having signed the bill, there can be no constitution of law, when the law in the hands of the boundary dwelling man, who blows a whistle and drowns out the land, just seems to me like pretty sounds, it was action that ruled this land.
As my heartbeat slowed, I feared letting go to the only thing I know. It was from this final show that it came to blows, that told me what I already knew, to the politician in this land, I politely bow tipping my hat as I go. It was much easier than I thought so, spending time behind enemy lines left me anything but fine. Such is the crumbling line that bordered time, I’m no longer invested in what can’t be contested.
Fingertips out of reach, the power to devour that which turns sour beats a bitter taste when it's swallowed in haste. I didn’t know what to do to pursue probability, inevitably I was left feeling everything but empty. My hand is free as I bathe by the shore, desires I no longer allow to hinder me furthermore. Taught me to never stare directly into the glair, the silhouette is no longer there.
