I look at the clouds but I'm still in the dirt.
I been through so much hurt
By trying to make my dreams work.
It may be hard right now but it'll be worth it in the end.
At least I can say I took no shortcuts or gave in to a life of sin.
I choose to be an open book so you see my story
In what lies behind this glory.
