I should have been a silly clown
my world is always upside down
the sign says left
I make a right
I bite my ear
I wiggle my toes
even learnt to count on my nose
sometimes up, sometimes down
should have been a silly clown
A silly clown I liked to be
having people laugh with me
don't take my hat
don't take my wig
I just do a silly jig
bring back my shoe
you go my toe
with you I cannot go
a silly clown I'll always be
so come along and laugh with me.
