Sitting outside
It's around four I see
Woke up early
Normal time for me
Something's missing
As I sit out here
It must be a coffee
To get me in gear
It's a routine
Just like clockwork
A coffee to wake
Often it's some perc
A coffee shop
Is right next door
But I prefer
Homemade a lot more
I'm sitting here
Thinking about
When to get one
Then come back out
Contemplating
Here outside
A coffee sounds good
To get my eyes open wide
I'll make my Joe
And return here
I'll end this now
Because coffee time is near
