You cannot feel the warmth of sunlight trying to intrude, through a window you keep heavily covered with the darkest colored curtains of your choice, so not even the slightest bit of yellow can peek through and get to you. Preferring to keep your sanctuary cold, untouched because it's better than the possibility of burning.You cannot let him into your heart when you choose to keep it fastened so tightly under your way too thickened skin.
