Life is a comic strip,
A series of frames and panels,
A story told in ink and paint,
Of struggles and triumphs and tangles.
We are but mere characters,
Acting out our predetermined roles,
Following script lines,
That lead to predetermined goals.
We laugh and we cry,
We love and we hate,
But in the end, it's all a lie,
For we are just pawns in fate.
We strive for control,
But our paths are set,
We are but a figment,
Of someone else's imagination, yet.
We play out our parts,
Until the end of the tale,
But in the grand scheme of things,
We are nothing but a detail.
So let us make the most,
Of this comic book life,
Let us write our own story,
And make it free from strife.
