I need to say this out loud
So nothing's hidden in a cloud
It was for educational purposes
In other words, life lessons
In a time of desperation
I succumbed to temptation
I was frustrated to the core
I stood at a closed door
Nothing mattered anymore
My mind and heart was at war
Blaming myself for my strife
Resenting the fact I was alive
The day I wanted to take another way
As my mind spoke about my needs
I felt how my heart bleeds
And then I heard it say
This is not how you were raised
Sometimes blessings are delayed
Just hold on a little while longer
In time you'll get stronger
