Congenial

Congenial

An ordinary man

Living all alone

Which pleased him

He was free to roam

He enjoyed walking

To the local park

It was very enjoyable

He'd stay until dark

Congenial

His walks are

So meaningful

Out to the park , he may go

Not too fast , but quite slow

A close by store

It is his favourite

The cashier is friendly

Often he'd talk and sit

On many walks

He'd stop and stare

The scenery he viewed

Made him forget his cares

Congenial

His walks are

So meaningful

Over to the park , he might go

Not very fast , he goes slow

A small little town

One may know many

And to his pleasure

The majority are friendly

He feels the best

When he is at home

If he travels too far

He gets homesick syndrome

Congenial

His walks are

So meaningful

Down to the park , sometimes he will go

Just not that fast , but often very slow

Maybe in the future

He may look for a bride

But for now he's happy

With his congenial mind
