Waiting and wishing is the the line
No one wants the hard part of the game
Some say there's no I and a team
All they care and know is the end result
Not stopping once to think about the work
The determination put into it
The mistakes and the stumbles
The come in their numbers to praise
Feeling like it was an easy journey
The pains and cries in the night
Only the winner knows what it takes
But for those outside the box
It'll always look easy to them
Rushing in to say congratulations
I'll just keep going without them
Winning is and will always be the way up
Wish yourself first before them.
