Consumed poem
Pain drips from my insides as my heart begins to beat faster. Your delicate touch causes me to rethink my own existence.. days pass and time has frozen within the confines of my eternal soul. I yearn to hear your voice and feel the warmth of your breath as it consumes my being! Trapped in a world in which I have chosen to accept as normal I can’t help but wonder who and why you were brought to me! my insides spill onto your alter of vulnerability as my deepest regrets fill your psyche! Torn from this reality I fall hard onto my face only to look up and see your amazing smile.. I see you I need you, I feel you ! Please take away my pain and replace it with your subtle words of rational thought!
Tears run down my face as I hold your attention… why this why now… why is it so hard to let you inside? I hear your voice as I fill endless notebooks of shadowed thoughts.. follow me as my world turns upside down.. only to discover how much I desire you in it!
