It's more of a memory
An array of memories
Each laid out before my wandering mind,
Carefully architected as such, that you couldn't help always getting lost in it
The people walking by
As absurd as Me
Lost in their travels too
A hub of the intrigued
Each jotting down their memories, as the city grew
As our interests peaked
Towering, sky scraping, over our heads unto the clouds
The endless coffee shops, always delivering things new to the world
The bakers without a leave of a crumb,
Scented the air with their warm love
And galleries of old and new, forever spanning the reality We thought we knew...
All leading to that breath of fresh air
A walk around a district of the mythical abstract
A hop, skip, and a jump aboard the underground train, where time stood still as the air was cold
A skyline through the different arks of this heavenly abode
And a bid fare-thee-well for the day, upon a magic bus, always ready to sweep Us off our feet
All this, and all the while
Letting our minds mold to the other world's message in the moment; graffiti, that the Wall would break fourth unto us,
Unto I,
As the spray cans of all the artist's color, unbeknownst beforehand, I'm sure, sold Us on soul to pave, each, Our own way...
A day in the City
As much as I still remember those days...
I won't forget
So long as each day still reminds me
And that City remains even to this day
To tell the tale
The tales...
Of memories Ill always hold dear.
