I am in prison now
For a crime that I did not commit
I stand convicted,
Waiting for my judgement
I have been tortured and tormented
I don't know why they didn't shoot me
I long for death yet it hid itself from me.
Like a king it could have set me free.
In accordance to its will it chose to flee.
In the mind of a poet I hustle to be free.
