Lately, the world has forgotten the race,
The race for earning tons at pace,
As the deadly virus has hit so hard,
Every thing just fell apart.
Yes it has a name COVID-19,
How worse it could be,is still unseen
It has been the reasons for so many tears,
It feeds on the one who is diving in fears.
Everyone is clearly warned,
But the kids and the old ones are its basic want.
It wants the poor it wants the rich,
It shows no mercy like the wicked witch.
To save yourself no magic you need,
No ones to be sacrificed or asked to bleed,
You just need to add little things to your routine,
While in your new journey called 'quarantine'.
So when in emergency you have to go outside,
Do not ever forget to wear a mask,
But usually stay home that is stay safe side,
This is surely a simple task.
The lockdown has kept so many people apart,
It separated the loved ones and also the haters,
This virus aims for your lungs and then your heart,
Everyone is despararte to kill its creators,
Hatts off to all the doctors and the policemen ,
Who literally put their lives at risk ,
There is no answer to the question 'when',
i.e when will our nation no more be sick,
The Virus doesn't pick someone,
According to their country religion or color,
It will either leave when its done,
Or we all could make it disappear.
All we need to do is wash our hands,
And pray and stay safe at our home ,
Because the virus can't pass through water, air or sand,
So it will die and vanish if we leave it alone.
So alone that nowhere it could go,
When we maintain social distance,
No it can't kill no more no more,
All we have to use is common sense.
Very soon we will meet our family and friends,
No we won't let our world come to an end ,
Because no matter how terrifying is COVID-19,
It can't really break through our so called 'quarantine'.
