My sleep is Interrupted by the day
Hours awake seem doubled in a boring way
Finding things to occupy my time
Cooking In the kitchen or write another rhyme
Can't go out or covid will get me
A year almost now since we were all free
Work on my canvas or watch TV
I'd rather be in nature in the woods or by the sea
The pub garden Isn't very safe they say
The virus is deadly so at home you must stay
A good reason needed just to take the bus
Watching every move of every one of us
The whole Country now under house arrest
It didn't work before so why is this way best
I would take my chances I don't know about you
If the gates ever open to this Mother f***ing zoo ♥️
