Silly enough to call them my friends
They're drinking buddies that's all
Since the pubs have all been closed down
My social circle's been small
I never see them out and about
They never call my phone
None of my messages get returned
So back in my one man zone
Only a pint or maybe two
In the garden of the pub
An hour in the afternoon
Then back home for grub
When the pubs reopen up
I'll be at the bar
But any pub with a garden will do
Don't care where them buddies are
