In the beginning, some did assert, That all was made by a being first, But as science did its work unearth, The evidence for this theory was the worst.
No fossil finds or tests did show, That life was made by a master hand, The theory of evolution did grow, And creationism did not stand.
The lack of evidence was plain to see, But some still clung to ancient lore, Ignoring all that science could be, And leaving facts out of the score.
But facts are facts, and the truth will out, And in the end, it will prevail, Creationism, without a doubt, Will fade, and evolution will unveil.
So let us listen to the evidence, And not to those who would deceive, For only in the facts we have sense, And in true science, we shall believe.
