Creative mind

Dreams of the empty existence.
Blank, naked, tame...
I picked it up and hide it deep in my dreams.
In my hands, it became a small city.
I gave it sight, voice, gave it part of my heart...
It gave me vision, passion, it made me sensitive to emotions.
With the touch of art!
My creative senses got me walking solo;
Sail through my tears, alone in my low loft;
Staring at lonely times as they tick in slow lope.
Doubting everything,
Far from redemption but,
On the phone with God.
His affiliates won't let me through.
So sinfully religious!
Grown up to walk pass my puberty.
But I'm so still,
Still and trapped in the eyes of a little girl.
That one part of me that never grows, so still
My skin is covered in smiles.
Yet, I've choked, wrapped friendship up before it could steal from me,
Then set it on fire as it gazed at me.
Now I can bleed for me.
Beneath the laughter of people,
I'm so anxious to grow;
I'm too shy to be great;
I'm very good to be good.
On its wings as its feathers glow,
Artistry liberates me
On the journey through word play.
Then I get me into my creative mind,
Overwhelming happiness!
Only in there, I've found eternal bliss.
