Jack sits and laughs, enchanted and bright
He calls the monsters to come tonight
Coming alive, causing fright, with his time so finite
Taking his invite, I sit with him under the moon, until the morning light
The dead walk freely, and we don't mind
Above my head, bats fly around in the eerie dark sky
Black cats, witches, ghosts, and vampires
Goblins, ghouls, and creepy spiders
It's a different kind of energy, a family of dire
I'd be lying if I said I didn't admire
Welcoming me under this benight
But if you're not, you should stay inside
