Crossing paths

Looking through my poetry app one day

I seen your posts which caught my eye

Unique and original which I admired

Things I can relate to that make me sigh

You also like my writing which I thank you

I'm not sure how it started , we chatted

I looked forward to seeing your replies

Mutual interest , I think we were attracted

Soon we lost contact with each other

Months went by and I was puzzled

I kept your email and cell number

I thought perhaps you had settled

One day I seen a post by you surprisingly

It was a long time since I seen you

I read it ,liked it like most your poems

I commented on one it's good it's true

An email one day popped on my screen

It was you , I thought oh wow happily

I sent you my new cell number

And now we're chatting again thankfully
