One time I've seen boys in the hood throwing rocks at an abandoned building.

Liquid or solid form rocks. You can get away just about with anything in the hood back in the 90s and early 2000s.
In modern times, throwing rocks of any kind on a property is against the law of vandalism. Vandalism is a property crime.
Although, people still do it.
Uneducated children and all people of any kind throwing rocks, but do not know exactly what they are throwing.
They do not know where rocks came from, or how they are used in Science. Me, as a studier of science, I understand the formalities of rock minerals.
Science is not my major, but I enjoy reading scientific books and studying it.
