CRY

Our God , disguised as Kenyans youths came to our aid
As our country was falling apart , out neighbours youths were writing about us on social media
As people died, N.G.O's and military troupes organised themselves
As bodies had mass burials , help was on the way
We were rescued
Too traumatised to tell our tales
We were taken to the various hospitals in east Africa
It was a tough experience, it was the worst year of our lives
I thought I'd die
But again I'm in a foreign land
With no one else but my self
I had to fight for me
I had to fight for who I had lost
I had to fight for what remained of my country ..
So lying in Kenyatta National hospital in Kenya , I asked the gods of our land to protect us
Guide me and other Sudanese to recovery
I had lost my leg
My womanhood has seized to be an organ
I needed a million constructive surgeries
And of course I had PTSD .
But I was willing to work
I was willing to get better
Deep inside I knew there was a God in Heaven
Being alive today was all his doing
I'm well off now on crutches though
I'm not able to give birth but I'm glad I can adopt
God blessed me with two kids , all victims of the Sudan tragedy
Now I run
An organisation aimed to help women and children who are victims of war ..
Am grateful to God for this chance ..
