CRY OF THE POOR

You came knocking at my door,
and i quickly opened for you
You convinced me to vote for you,
and i stood beneath the hot sun for you
just to make sure i kept the promise
Since the day, you were elected
In my life ,you dashed
All the promises you made
as empty they were, they did fade
I should have known you are just Fake
You now call yourself Honorable
dressing expensively, because you are able
while each day, i grow weak and feeble
my vacant stomach always rumbles
No food to eat in this streets
sewages are now blocked
the roads are muddy and flooded
crime has increased
government taxes has been increased
corruption all over the country
many are idle and jobless
the economy is also a stress
children are going hungry to schools
you truly took us as fools
Tomorrow we will be waiting for you
