crying just to feel

she was broken.
a mess to the common eye.
lonely by association.
she felt like giving up.
fists clenched.
teeth chatter.
her polish nails dug into her porcelain almost flawless soft palms as a few drops of blood dripped to her side kissing the floor.
her heart ached.
it was splitting in two.
tears burned her blue eyes.
her breath became a gasp.
she wiped her eye.
the ache in her chest was suffocating her.
sooner or later her heart would cave in.
I laid beside her in a raggedy bed made for two.
I held her close.
her blonde long hair.
her blue eyes hiding underneath her golden bangs.
again and again she's cried almost trembling in my arms.
my warmth serenaded her.
as she pulled me close.
tight.
almost smothering.
she couldn't take no more.
just crying just to feel.
