She looked up towards the sky
She asked the angels " why."
She wanted to know why her daddy had to die.
He fought so hard to live,
And this is what life gives.
Sometimes we don't get to choose how long we are here.
Death is her biggest feat.
As her dad was dying, he didn't remember who she was, and she cried.
Mama says, when we go, all our emotions is what we hide.
We can't control our minds when they are broken in two.
When we die, our soul lives through.
Then the girl wiped her eyes
She hoped that daddy realized,
She hugged her mama, and said " here's a hug for daddy to.
Her mama cried, and said " daddy will never forget about you."
The girl smiled and said " I know because daddy came to see me in my dreams."
She held her hand up towards the sky and said " I believe."
She realized that he was to sick to continue his journey.
But some day she will join him, when it's her time to go, she finally set him free.
She hugged her mama and knew that he was watching out for them.
She will miss him, but knows he is out there time and time again.
