She thinks she's doing good, but to me its all wrong.
I know I have to get my act together, but I ain't all that strong.
One day she will fall apart, and our little girl will have to pay.
I don't know what goes on in her head, but every night I lay my head down to pray.
When I see my little girl she says " daddy, do you love me?"
I hold her tiny hand and say " daddy, will always love you."
Then she smiles with glee.
She's daddys little girl and I love her with all my heart and soul indeed.
She has her daddys eyes and her daddys ways, but she questions like her mom, that I don't need.
The family I once had is just a memory that fades in time.
Now I look at my little girl and wish for her a life, definitely not like mine.
