The wind echoed around the dark skies
But the air was still and silence filled it
Our footsteps made patterns in the sand and we felt the softness on the soles of our shoes
We could feel the moon behind us, parting through the clouds like a light had switched on in the sky
Two best friends walking towards the beach feeling like a weight had been lifted
We could hear the sound of the sea crashing against the waves
But the air was still silent
As we looked ahead we saw a cloud made out of an angel and we knew right there and then
That we was being protected
The wind still blowing loud enough that it sounded like music
Our feet pattering on the sand.
Spinning around allowing the wind to carry us both
Just two best friends
With our sorrows lifted
Dancing
