Amidst the vast and endless sea,
There lies a story, known to me,
Of waves that rise and fall with grace,
Enduring storms and every race.
They've seen it all, these waves so strong,
Love and joy, and all that's wrong,
Tossed and turned, they've been misused,
But still, they hold on, unamused.
As they've watched the world go by,
And beauty fade, and passions die,
They've learned to stand the test of time,
And face each day with grit and rhyme.
They dance and sway amidst the storm,
And smile as they take on the norm,
Reflecting hues of sunbeams bright,
And bringing joy to souls in flight.
Oh, waves that live and breathe and be,
How much you teach and show to me,
Enduring life, and every tide,
You inspire me to rise and ride.
