Dandelions

A connection sparked, a friendship grew, But for me, emotions ran deeper, true. I confessed my feelings, and he agreeed to be, friends, nothing more, but my heart still yearns to see.

If only he could feel the same, but his avoidance speaks volumes, a different flame. He's overwhelmed, and I'm left to wonder why, Does he feel a spark, or am I just a distant sigh?

I wish upon the lines of fate, that one day he'll see me in a different state. But until then, I'm left to roam, with a heart that beats for him, a love unrequited, unknown.

The question lingers, a constant refrain, will he ever feel the same, or am I just in vain? I refuse to believe that love's not meant to be, but his indifference whispers a different melody.

Still, I hold on to hope, a glimmer of light, Perhaps someday he'll see me in a different sight. Until then, I'll cherish the friendship we share, and hope that someday, our hearts will beat with a love that's rare.
