DARK CORRIDOR

A strange sudden stillness, like a lucid water, a quicksand hidden with petals
A silence that chokes and leaves me void
Void because of the fruit
Of my accursed Eden
The silence choke my soul. My shoes tapped the cold stone floor.
The only sound to be heard for hours
Tip..tap..tip tap
I walked the Halls of this
Hospital of doom.
Darkness across the room, patients chained to the bed. Duct tape to their mouth, they gasped for air as they struggled and nurses stroked their bodies with teasers
Some ghostly nurses took notes.
I feel silence around me
Faces of the dead, white and pale passed my face
My heart filled with dread
Where am I? Where am I?
What am I? My voice resounded in the August stillness. Voices rattled but no sound. I looked upon one of the nurses as I strolled into one dimly lit room.
She scribed on a note
I sat on a plastic chair and wondered what kind of hospital is this.
Quite and gloomy
The only sound was that made by my shoes
I looked at the man attended by the gloomy nurses, his organs were been harvested by the nurses and a doctor
"Kidney" one said
"Check" a nurse answered
"Liver, spleen"
"Check"
"Heart"
"Check"
Organs harvested illegally for money
I walked to the man on the surgical bed
It's me...I was the one
The nurse said "time of death 7:45pm
Am I dead? Oh yes I am
A man in coma, euthanasized
Who will speak up against such evil?
Happening unchecked In hospitals. I am the man on the surgical board and
My soul will be stuck to hunt the dark corridor as long as this hospital stands.
