Dark of the night, do thoughts arise
Black as night, scared as fright
With death it brings, accepted I have
But what is dark without the light
And what is light without the dark
Out of the shadows of my mind
Despair I see, scary it seems
But I ask again what is death without life?
And what is life without death?
With hope it brings, a light so bright curiosity I gain
Radiance so divine, a beauty it seems
But not at all you see, cause a goddess it shapes
A work of art, a masterpiece
Words barely enough to describe it's greatness
A face I see, one which rivals both Venus and Aphrodite alike
But not just that; a crown on her head
Gold and silver before her feet
A crown beauty mixed with wealth
Only one could make something so great and divine
The one who is he that he is ("I am that I am")
A masterpiece from God, a love I cannot deny
But wait; what about the dark?
None of that matters when you are around
With a radiance so bright and divine it scares even the dark
Beauty unmatched, searched far and wide
Yet it stands at the top
A crown she wears
My heart it yearns for its queen
What is life without death?
What is death without life?
Nothing I say just as dark is to light and light is to dark
Just for you I yearn
A kiss I'd steal from the queen of my heart
A beauty from the heavens
Gorgeous she is
The best of the best she beats
Dark of the night, you are my light
My love I give to you, my love I shall always give
Even in the "Dark of the night"
