One day we will lay next to each other in coffins. And when the insects have eaten our flesh, our skulls will smile at one another. While sending each other never before seen spiritual messages, written the opposite of our vows, "until death brings us together."
When the dust ruins my outfit, I will undress to show you I'm still comfortable naked a corpse, because making love to you was never really about flesh feeding off lemon juices, but my soul promising you eternity. Even if your fingers now can break, the ring on it still says, "at least we grew to the afterlife with each other."
Even though we will lay in the ground I will still tell you jokes to keep you laughing, I will remember what it felt like to see you smiling. I nearly dropped a tear, but the dead are never crying. I hope you notice that we will never remain undying. And God is literally my witness, because sleeping forever with you is the only sin here that’s still praying.
We were supposed to settle down but looking back I'm glad together we got this far, time has stopped where we are, so we reached the milestone we grew old together. Our story will be told someday in a theatre, and people will stop wondering and start talking.
