Darkness

The darkness calls to me like an old friend its arms open wide to wrap me in the cold sorrows. It swallows me in one bite like I was nothing. I can hear creatures lurking just out of sight their low growls echo in my ears. I want more then anything to squeeze my eyes shut and never open them again, but I know if I do the things unseen will get me. I cant let them get me if I can fight them I might make it back to the light. My hope is fading and they can smell it in the air. My blood runs cold and my heart races as a massive claw appears. Opening my mouth to scream but to no avail, fear as me frozen in place.
