Darkness Presides
Insomnia can provide
But what comes then
Can I consume it
A part of me to add
Apologies written
For all that fails to be
But maybe me apart
To redesign my times
A hope to subside
A dream behind
Darkness can hold
As the depths paint it all within
I close my eyes to see
As the swirls and stares meld into me
Moving emotions that sway
Curves and melds
The beauty of the whole to see
A wonder
A sight to behold
The colors so varied
In the end
Eyes wide open
Waiting to see
What's underneath
This mysterious, twisted sea.
