Shadows and fears, a battle fought.
The night engulfs me, no escape in sight.
The moon a mere flicker, no hope in its light.
My thoughts run deep, a maze I cannot escape.
The darkness consumes me, a never-ending tape.
To break free from its grip, a challenge to take.
Blinded by fear, every step I make.
My heart weighs heavy, a burden I feel.
The darkness on my mind, a pain that's real.
Yet still I strive, to see the light,
To emerge from the darkness, to win the fight.
So I take a deep breath, and gather my strength.
To rise up from the depths, to conquer at length.
The darkness on my mind, will not hold me down,
For I am the master, of my mind's battleground.
