Out of the green hazy woods nearby
Their cries came, welcoming the rising sun.
The blackbirds, the Robins also flap by,
Psalming sweet sounding melodies of morn.
Through open windows I felt the bliss,
The sensation of the clear morning air,
Gently drawing up the curtains to reveal
The scent of flowers bathing in the early morning mist.
Towards the curtains I seemed to float,
Fully drawing out the blinds to see;
The beauty beyond my stale concrete walls,
And the colourful trees dancing to the rhythms of the dawn chorus.
Sing! Sing on, ye choral birds of morn,
This sweet sounding melodies of dawn.
I'll love to be trapped in this epiphany of light,
At these windows, forever observing the depart of gloomy night.
