Chagrined from the pure shock of the moment
A thick green slime slowly makes its way down my hair and back
White string is broken at my feet
This revelation allows me to comprehend the situation
I look up with narrow eyes
The students before me are trying their best to hold in their laughter
The day of pranks and making fools is upon us
I have to admit, I didn't see this coming
Forcing down the smirk about to surface across my face
A split decision is all I need to turn this around on them
Collecting my intentions I put on the facade of the century
Putting the most famous of actors to shame
Walking foward with intense footsteps
The weight of an angered monster follows them
I can slowly see the grins fade and listen as the small chuckles cease
I turn to the closest student next to me
And slam my hands on his desk
Everyone jumps up, but before they can do much more
I let out a scolding yell about the lack of decency in today's youth
Finger pointing and calling out each students' full name
Furthermore, I grab up blank sheets of displenary documents
Pretending to write everyone up for a whole year of weekend detention
The color from there faces fade
Looking like the shell of a deceased corpse
It's time to put the icing on the cake
I turn around and flip an empty table over
And march out of the room, slamming the door on my way out
The thought of their faces when I reenter with the principle will be amazing
But of course this is just my pay back to them
None of them are actually in trouble
Leisurely making my way to the principle's office
A bright white smile plasters across my face
Radiating the empty halls
As I revel in the day known as April Fools
And relive the time when I was in the student's shoes
