Day of Reckoning.

Somewhere off in the distance I can see it setting in, the storm is already pounding the ground and more of our kind has met their end.

What do you do while this has happened, where were you on that day, did you sit idly by in their suffering, did you have no words to say?

Unsuspecting victims of yet another brutal crime, but the crime was not against a God, nor religion, not this time.

This time they aimed for families, this time they aimed for kids, this time we let it happen, because nothing is what we did.

What will it take for you to wise up, a bomb in your own backyard? What will it take for you to see, truly nothing is safeguard.

Don't punish the soldiers for the war, but the ones who sent them to it, it's a soldiers job to win the battle, but not to put the flame a lit.

It matters not their skin color, their religion or origin, these crimes these evil men commit is a grave and mortal sin.

And we just as guilty for standing by and letting these monsters have their way, what I ask of you to do mankind is put an end to it TODAY!

I know you've read my wandering words, you've liked them and then forgot, but don't just read these words I write, don't cast them away for not.

Take one another's hands, stand up against this tyranny, don't let the bloodshed these beasts have caused to bring you to your knee.

Stand United all of mankind, it absolutely must be this chance, otherwise whichever God you worship will cast you to hell without a second glance.

For its graver to see a good person sit or stand watching idly by, then to see that same person stand for what is right, even if they die.

Break down these barriers society has created, treat your neighbor good regardless of his race, if you don't I guarantee you this, you'll lose at this slow pace.

Stand beside one another, with your cross, your Quran, your stones. Otherwise you'll fall divided and you'll truly die alone.

History is in the making with every second that clock ticks past, so I ask you dearest reader, will the impression you make last?

Sure you could cast these words aside, the ranting of a weak, battle torn soldier. But the day will come and it may be too late that you'll find you need my shoulder.

With this, my final stanzas, I leave a question, food for thought. How much more pain and suffering will it take before you remember those we all forgot?
