The days of Mama in the days of old
The time of hunger when food was scarce
No loved one to take you to the barn
All you have is yourself
Mama had a life inside of her
A child that needed to exist with its own dreams
Life looks really hard as the severity of hunger increases each day with no rain
Family exists no more as you are to fend for yourself whether capable or not
Mama had to take all in at the same time just to get nutrition for the child
Now the time has come for the child to come out
No transport to health as those around are not real
Angels existed in the time of miracles to announce the birth of the new born child
With the suffering and all the child must be called God's way to signify God's mercy of safe birth
The second needs to be presented in the chapel for baptism
The days has now changed as children cannot go to alphabeta no more
Mama has to ensure all the children's upkeep as she carried them
Children have now become men and women who needs to care for Mama
Some claim busy with work while others strive to make ends meet
What is life if children cannot look after Mama
Mama is a sunrise that deserves a medal everyday.
