Days of our hives

There once were a colony of bees living happily

They made honey all day and night as a family

The honey was well known around the forest

Their sweet delight was always the purest

After taking the last batch of honey to market

A traveling bear named Fred began to vomit

A salesman of the honey asked what from

Fred said it was right after he sampled some

The salesman was confused and so very upset

He guaranteed Fred an answer , but don't fret

The bee packed all the honey up and flew home

After returning to the hive all he did was moan

The queen heard him and asked if he was okay

Buzz the salesman shook his head and said nay

Our honey resulted in someones upset stomach

The queen bee replied never again that's a fact

The bee ordered a complete operation overhaul

She wanted an answer to get by nightfall

The whole hive was reviewed and reported back

Buzz came to her with good news and some bad

He said I'll tell you the bad news first I guess

The bad news, one of our workers is not the best

The queen wanted to know which bee it was

He hesitated , but then whispered it's me Buzz

The queen was shocked and in awe, but how

It's crazy but I was drunk one night with a cow

But I'd be damned but that cow dared me to do it

She said sit on those dead wilted flowers a little bit

There must have been some pollen still but was bad

I was too drunk but I mixed it with ours we had

That whole batch was tainted with overdue pollen

The queen wasn't mad and decided to give him a pardon

She said we all make mistakes once or twice in life

That's just how it happened on Days of our hives
